rJ Roül Rothman

B.Ch.D University of Pretoria South Africa 1992
GDC Reg. No: 67820

Roül relocated to the UK in 1992 from South Africa where he qualified at the University of Pretoria as a dentist. His mother’s family were all medically trained and his uncle, who lived in England, was a Periodontist. He made dentistry and particularly delivering dentistry in the UK sound wonderful, which is what made Roül relocate here. He worked in Northampton before he bought this practice in 1997.

He states:” it is the best decision he has ever made as it is a family, not a practice, and patients feel like they are part of that family.”

He constantly undertakes courses to update his knowledge in order to deliver the best results possible. Roül loves a new challenge. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. He enjoys working with and talking to people.

In his spare time Roül enjoys endurance cycling and trekking. He is incredibly proud of the exceptional reputation the practice has built. “It has a great name and we are very proud of what we do there.”

nicolaNicolette Zaidman

BDS University College Hospital London 1987.
GDC Reg. No: 62001

Nicolette was first attracted to a career in dentistry during her Orthodontic treatment at 14 years of age. She loved the ambience of the dental department in which she was treated, and how the dental team worked together in a nice comforting manner. Nicolette wanted others to experience the positive and confidence- boosting effect it had on her.

For Nicolette the most fulfilling part of being a dentist is knowing that a patient can be relieved of pain and has their dental problem sorted out. In addition, she has seen how improving an individual’s appearance has helped to boost their confidence in many ways. She is very empathetic with anxious patients, some of which have not attended for 30years or more. “It is particularly rewarding to help those people eat and smile once more”.

Nicolette joined Hamworthy Dental Practice in 2003 and states: “what I like best about working at the practice is that we all work extremely well together and this produces the best results for our patients. I really enjoy helping people to have better oral health, which positively links with good general health. I take pride that we offer a holistic approach to dentistry.”

Outside of Hamworthy, the love of her life is her family as well as having a passion for tap dancing and Zumba.( in no particular order!).
